Membership of the Institute of Export
Primarily comprised of individual members the Institute also has an increasing Business & Corporate Membership and a growing list of services and benefits designed to meet the various needs of all membership categories
Individual Membership
The Institute of Export is the only professional body in the U.K. offering recognised, formal qualifications in International Trade. The Institute’s professional qualifications, achieved by examination, lead to the award of the Diploma in International Trade, which confers Graduate membership of the Institute and the entitlement to use the suffix MIEx (Grad).
It is also possible to become a Full Member of the Institute following a minimum of 10 years practical experience in exporting and the taking up of references attesting to the competence and performance. Upon acceptance of the application and payment of the appropriate fees, entitlement to use the suffix, MIEx, is conferred.

Business Membership
Business Membership is awarded to established and respected organisations who are actively involved in international business. Our Business Members are developing an international reputation for their professionalism and commitment to people development.
Upon acceptance of the application and the payment of the appropriate fees, Business Members are entitled to display the Institute's Business logo.

Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is conferred on carefully selected, reputable organisations who possess substantial international business interests. These companies would normally enjoy high reputation and require a suitably skilled work force.
Upon acceptance of the application and payment of appropriate fees, the corporate member is entitled to display and use the Institute's Corporate logo.
